Tony Ridley, our Sr. Appraiser has 27 years’ experience with over 20,000 appraisals to his credit and is considered one of the top appraisers in Colorado. He’s also an author, local and national speaker, investor, licensed realtor, regular contributor for several national appraisal publications and consultant to hundreds of appraisers across the country. Mr. Ridley also provides expert witness services for litigation in the Superior Court of Colorado Denver County.

I needed an appraisal of a unique residential rental property - nine bedrooms across three interconnected units and a single garage to challenge a county assessor's valuation for property tax purposes. I talked with a number of professional appraiser, Tony was the only one prepared to take on an appraisal of this unique property. All of the others either want to do quick appraisals of single family homes for loans or do very large industrial/retail properties (like a whole strip mall with values over $50 million). Tony was able to do a high quality, professional appraisal package that we can now use as evidence when we go to a hearing on the valuation and he will be a credible expert witness. He thoughtfully researched actual comparable similarly situated properties in developing a market valuation. The county and other appraisers just wanted to take whatever they could find online and claimed that was the market. Very happy with his level of professionalism and quality of his work.
